2008 November > CIBC Fights Breast Cancer

Right up until two days before the big run, the staff at the new CIBC Maple branch, located at Jane & Norwood, were still doing whatever they could to support this great cause. The entire staff was dressed in pink and accepting donations, selling baked goods, and pink ribbons. The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run For The Cure takes place across Canada in 53 communities and this year had over 170,000 canadians out to support the cause. This is CIBC's 12th year as the title sponsor. CIBC together with participants, volunteers, & community members across the country came together to raise $28.5 million at this years runs!
