R.A.P.T. in Health Luncheon Packs Riviera Parque

The packed house at Riviera Parque on March 1st, mainly consisting of females, took part in the 2013 R.A.P.T. in Health Luncheon. This event, co-chaired this year by by Vilma Cortellucci-Fiuza and Marita Simbul-Lezon, is held in support of Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital’s Chronic Kidney Disease Program. Throughout the afternoon, those in attendance enjoyed two energizing speeches - one from Canada AM’s Beverly Thomson and the other from health expert Rose Reisman – with silent auctions, door prizes, and raffles dispersed to give everyone a chance to take home a great prize or two. The greatest prize of all, for each guests, was the knowledge gained by taking in some valuable information on gaining and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. All proceeds will go towards equipping Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital’s Chronic Kidney Disease Program with lifesaving hemodialysis machines.
