A Night in the Past for a Cure in the Future
What would you do if you could travel back in time? Without the benefit of a time machine, the organizers of “A Night in the Past for a Cure in the Future” have decided to use the limited ability of music and clothes to travel back to help raise funds for cancer research. The Retro Gala that took place at the Bellevue Manor on February 20th was the 4th instalment of the series, with funds earmarked for The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.
Presented by Platinum Music and Entertainment, A Night in the Past was a blazing success. MC’d by Breakfast Television’s Dina Pugliese the event was completely sold-out. Attendees enjoyed a night of entertainment, delicious food, and hope; the hope, “to conquer cancer in our lifetime.” With efforts like this, the future looks extremely bright for those affected by this horrible disease. For organizers, the choice to travel back to help find a cure, will hopefully be a successful one.
