Mayor's Annual Pancake Breakfast
On Saturday January 23, Mayor Linda Jackson invited Vaughan residents to join her at the Vellore Village Community Centre for the 3rd annual Mayor’s Pancake Breakfast. With a not so typical January Day happening outside Vellore, the fun inside was exactly what attendees have come to expect from this event. Hundreds of residents made their way into the community centre to enjoy some delicious pancakes and treats, while taking in some entertainment provided by Doo Doo the Clown and other performers. Members of Council were also on hand, mingling with all of the guests and taking the time to socialize with their constituents. Vaughan Fire & Rescue was also present, lending a hand and spreading the word on fire safety to all of the children and parents who came out while Local Air Cadets volunteered their time to ensure the event was a successful one for all involved.
