RBC Family Skate Raises Funds for the VHCC
RBC has shown, time and again, that it is committed to giving back to the community it serves. Through the Putting Communities FIRST program, RBC employees show their appreciation to their clients and neighbourhoods by hosting and organizing various events and happenings. On January 30th, the RBC Family Skate at Woodbridge Memorial Arena gave members of the community an opportunity to take part in some fun winter activities, and meet their local representatives from City Council. For the young ones, the chance to lace ‘em up for a few laps and meet RBC mascot Leo the Lion was the highlight of the affair. As part of the event, donations were accepted to support the Vaughan Health Campus of Care (VHCC) RBC has managed to bring in over $75,000 to help in the erecting of Vaughan’s first health care facility.
