Chinese New Year’s festivities took place at the Centre Court. To commemorate “The Year of the Tiger” a Martial Arts display, Lion Dance, and Traditional Chinese music and dancing demonstrations were on display for those in attendance and those who were passing by along to one of the many shops in the Promenade. The all-day affair was instrumental in ushering in the Chinese New Year while providing an educational experience for people who may be new to the ceremonial festivities. The event, titled “Luck & Love”, offered an amalgamation of the two holidays celebrated on the 14th. With the Year of the Tiger bringing much fortune and prosperity, guests of the Promenade Mall were also able to pick-up a free Rose with every shop!™ card purchase during Valentine’s Day Weekend.
