BBK Showstoppers Perform at Promenade Mall

The BBK Showstoppers took their style of youth dance/musical theatre to the Promenade Mall to fulfill a mission. The group of performers set out to bring awareness to the community about a variety of educational aspects of dance, in support of Education Week. From cultural exploration to giving back, the troupe, known for providing entertainment to people in the York Region and across the GTA, provided an inspirational performance to a very receptive audience. It was the dream of BBK Showstoppers’ Artistic Director Brianne Buckman-Kalechstein to create an environment where youths could take their talents to another level while also serving as role models to their peers through community outreach. Judging by the response and performance on April 30th, it’s easy to see that the dream has most definitely become a reality.
