Senior Star Regional Competition

Chartwell Classic Valley Vista Retirement is excited to announce Toni Pinto as their regional Senior Star, with Leo Evanson as the first runner up and Rami Kapon the second.
Senior Star is Canada’s largest talent competition open to anyone 65 years and over and a Canadian resident. The competition, which is in its fifth year, was held on June 15th. The auditions were videotaped for the regionals. The panel of three judges included musical experts, government officials, and media representatives.
The winners received a Senior Star trophy. Videos of the first and second place winners will compete for the Nationals where they will be judged by a celebrity panel including Dan Clancy, Tim Louis and Gordie Tapp. The 10 finalists will compete in the Senior Star National Final on November 21st, 2011 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
