Vaughan City Lashers Wheelchair Basketball Action
On February, 4th, the Vaughan City Lasher’s Wheelchair Basketball Team played host to their final tournament at Vellore Village Community Center. On that day, The Lasher’s took on the Kitchener Twin City Spinners (3rd ranked) and the Variety Village Squad in a highly spirited 3 match tournament at the local recreation centre. Each team to participate in this tournament was heavily focused and gave it their all. Our Vaughan City Lasher’s was named in memory of National Team Wheelchair Basketball great David Lash. The team is also proud members of the Ontario Wheelchair Sports Association (OWSA), ParaSport Ontario, and Wheelchair Basketball Canada.
