RBC Makes Big Donation to Discovery

Prior to March 1st, the RBC Foundation had been approached to support the after school program at the Discovery School in Maple, with a generous donation. With members of the school and special guests present on the first day of March, the Discovery School of Maple was provided with a donation $10,000 from RBC Vaughan. The money will help in the funding of the Mosaic Initiative program (created due to the quick growing cultural diversity occurring throughout the Maple community). With the help of RBC, the Mosaic Initiative is on its way to making some great changes. They hope to expand and enhance the interaction of the school’s current program with other cultural communities within the area; doing this through four different activities. The Discovery School of Maple could not have been happier with such a great donation!
