RBC Vaughan Shows Appreciation for Community Support

RBC Vaughan has long been a supporter of many local, community events; with the Santa Fest Parade being one of their largest, in terms of manpower provided. This year, RBC Vaughan’s volunteer efforts were aided by the wonderful students at St. Joan of Arc in Maple. To show their appreciation, a contingent of RBC employees was joined by RBC Olympian Pole Vaulter Heather Hamilton, as they visited the school for a special presentation. After Hamilton spoke to the students of the journey that led her to competing in the Olympics, RBC then presented a cheque to the school for $500. The St. Joan of Arc Cheerleaders were then singled out for their incredible enthusiasm at the Parade, and the students in turn, were extremely thankful for the support they received from their guests.
