American Guild of Music 18th Annual Music Competition
Beginning on Friday November 23rd 2012, The American Guild of Music held its 18th Annual music competition at the Delta Meadowvale Hotel in Mississauga. Music students competed in solos, duets and group divisions for piano, guitar, voice, violin, drums and wind instruments. With over 125 students competing from Musaic School of Music, the city of Vaughan was well represented musically in all levels, genres and instruments. The American Guild of Music has been running music competitions for 112 years making it the world's oldest international music organization. Its membership is open to independent music teachers, music store owners and their teaching staffs, music publishers and instrument manufacturers and music students. Each contest is structured to be a positive experience, so that every student has a chance to succeed no matter his or her ability.
