Holiday Schmooze

The Thornhill Federal Liberal Riding Association invited one and all to join them for their 2012 Holiday Schmooze at the North Thornhill Community Centre on December 16th. The event was a chance from the community to make their way to the local recreational centre, toast their friends and neighbours, and enjoy some delicious holiday food and drink. Organizers were expecting hundreds of guests, which also included dignitaries from communities surrounding Vaughan. The event was definitely one for the family, featuring face painting and other activities for the young and young-at-heart. There was also a charitable component to the festivities as all guests were encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the local food bank.
