5th Annual Strikes 4 Marco
The passing of a young child is never easy. On January 4th, 2008, Marco Leggieri lost his battle with Rhabdomyosarcoma. With the tireless efforts of his loving and devoted family, Marco's memory lives on through his loved ones, friends and the community in which he lived in. On January 6th, the 5th Annual Strikes 4 Marco was hosted at Lucky Strikes located inside Vaughan Mills. Many gathered to support the Leggieri family in their ongoing journey to raise funds to help find a cure for families in similar positions, with the hope that they may have a fighting chance to avoid the same fate that their beloved Marco, and their family as a whole, experienced. As usual the event was a raging success. Everyone had a great time on the lanes, sharing memories and keeping the vibrant spirit of a boy, who in just five years touched the lives of so many, alive and well.
