Dufferin Concrete Helping to Make Wishes Come True

It was certainly an act of kindness when the Dufferin Concrete generously provided The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada with a cheque in December. Throughout the holidays, the funds for the cheque were accumulated from a food drive campaign (for local food banks) that the Dufferin Concrete held for Thanksgiving. Maple Plant was the GTA regional winner that managed to collect the most food items. Due to the Plant’s success they were given the chance to select a local charity to donate funds to—here’s where The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada comes in. The foundation was the chosen one to be rewarded the cheque on December 20th. And on the day of the presentation the foundation’s representatives shared a few words to show their appreciation, as well as an additional $900 from the employees in lieu of a Christmas Party.
