Junior Achievement Program in Vaughan
Junior Achievement is “the world's largest and fastest growing not-for-profit economic education organization dedicated to teaching young people about business and entrepreneurial ventures.” It’s no surprise that the organization recently was able to motivate various young students to take up a promising project. Here in Concord, an ambitious and inspiring group of high-school students built a company known as Toronto Portable Memory. The company was built as a way to provide credit card USBs in order to grant other young people “convenience and as well as marketing strategies.” In addition, the event allowed for mentors to help guide students through this enlightening learning process. As stated: “The goal is not about making profit and donating money to charitable organizations, but it is about teaching the leaders of tomorrow about the business world and the amount of work, dedication, and motivation necessary to build a company and succeed.”
