Promenade Pep Rally
Aside from holiday shopping, back to school shopping is recognized as the second largest shopping event and, with school is just around the corner, Promenade has organized various events to help students get ready for another educational session. Hosted just a few weeks away from the first day of school, Promenade Shopping Centre put forth a Pep Rally to get students in to the school spirit and to support the Leave Out Violence Charity. Throughout the day there were non-stop entertainment filled activities that got the crowd pumped and ready to go. The day featured electrifying performances from Glee club’s Choir! Choir! Choir!, the Argo Cheerleaders, as well as Back to School Trend Tips with leading blogger Lena Almeida from Listen to Lena and a Leave Out Violence (LOVE) anti-bullying workshop to help further reduce bullying in both schools and in the lives of youth. It was just one way to help prepare students for another successful school year and cap the summer break with loads of fun.
