The Safehaven Annual Gala

It was a special night for Vaughan Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua as he, along with Safehaven Gala champion Tony Zingaro, was honoured at the annual Safehaven Gala on November 1st. The Gala annually provides a bost to Safehaven, which is an organization and home that does outstanding work in changing the lives of families with children suffering from multiple disabilities. The annual Safehaven Gala is one of the largest fundraising events for the Safehaven Project for Community Living. The night was filled with great food and fun with tons of live entertainment and exciting activities for all guests to enjoy. Guests were also invited to participate in a silent and live auction, where they had the chance to win a number of incredible prizes like jewelry, vacation getaways, and electronic devices. Donations for the live auction were also accepted from generous folks of the community. The number one goal for the Safehaven Project is to provide residential care for children who oftentimes cannot walk, talk, see or hear.
