Concord West Seniors Club's Woodworking Lesson
The Concord West Seniors Club bridged the generational gap with a few younger members of the community recently. With a free woodworking introduction for children aged 5-12, members of the local seniors club were able to showcase some of the skills they learned around the time they were the ages of their guests and, in the process, were able to help these children create little masterpieces to take home to their families. The participants created birdhouses which they crafted and painted under the careful supervision of their excited instructors. The children had a blast creating something with their hands - although we're almost positive their instructors had just as much fun, if not more, helping the children stoke their creative spirit.
