The 2014 Mandarin MS Walk
May 4th meant it was time for participants to lace up their sneakers for those living with multiple sclerosis at the Annual Mandarin MS Walk. There was a fantastic turn out at this year’s walk, with many residents of the Woodbridge community participating in this year’s event. This was a great event to take the entire family to with lots of fun activities to take part in! There were several routes with varying lengths for all walkers, which also included a wheelchair-accessible route. Several start/finish line activities were taking place that day including a motivational speech from MS Ambassadors, live entertainment, team awards and much more! All participants had a wonderful time during the walk as they got the chance to connect with old and new friends and raise money for a great cause. This MS Walk was just one of the many walks taking place across the country. The Woodbridge MS Walk headquarters was located at Immaculate Conception Catholic Elementary School. More than 40,000 Canadians in over 160 communities across Canada were expected to participate in the MS Walk this year.
