The River Ball, Revolution by the River

The River Ball: Revolution by the River fundraising event on May 8th brought in a large number of people from the community for a great cause. This annual fundraising event will benefit the new Humber River Hospital. Paramount Conference and Event Venue was the location for this year’s event. The live entertainment for the evening included an incredible performance by RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles, a special Beatles tribute show. The tribute show has been widely acclaimed by many, and all of the guests seemed to really enjoy it! There were over 800 people on the guest list which included everyone from medical innovators, community leaders and business professionals. The money raised from this event will be going towards building North America’s very first fully digital hospital which will be the largest healthcare facility in the city of Toronto. The River Ball’s mission is to help support the Foundation’s goal to raise $225M for the construction and providing equipment for the new Humber River Hospital. The hospital is scheduled to open in Fall 2015. All of the guests had a wonderful time at this year’s event especially knowing that proceeds will be going towards the new hospital.
